About Willow
Willow Marr is M2’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. Since co-founding the Firm, she has always believed in the need to think differently to design and implement effective organizations. She has over 20 years of expertise studying and designing organizations, governance models, and ways to inspire and motivate the workforce. Her efforts have been instrumental in developing and maturing M2’s service offerings resulting in the Firm doubling revenue in the last three years.
She spearheaded and lead’s development of the Firm’s consulting methodologies. Because of her drive to think differently, M2’s operations are agile, cloud-based, and are thriving in the virtual world we live in. Her focus is on nurturing M2’s best workplace culture and having the M2 brand remain synonymous with Excellence.
Prior to co-founding M2, Willow served as an environmental lawyer and worked at the Department of Energy (DOE) as a Policy Advisor helping to develop a new office to manage remediated nuclear waste sites. She is sought out by clients and industry for her thought leadership and unique ideas on organizational transformations, modernizations, and ways to gain efficiencies.
She led the development of M2’s Corporate Social Responsibility program and is dedicated to M2’s social impact. She advocates for employees to support pro-bono consulting hours and has received many accolades for her involvement in the community.
Education
Willow holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University and a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. She is bar-certified in California and the District of Columbia.
